"Who's car is this?"

I would just like to share with you a conversation that I had with a little boy today. To preface: I was in Logan, just leaving my uncle's apartment to come home. I got out to my car and there was a little boy (no more than 10 years old) riding his bike around the parking lot, looking like he was casing my car.

The Conversation:
Boy: Who's car is this?
Me: It's mine.
Boy: Oh....I thought that other car was yours. It doesn't look like your car.
Me: Nope, that's not mine, it's my mom's. This one is mine.
(opens trunk)
Boy: What's that green thing?
Me: Its a pull cord so that if someone got stuck in the trunk, they could pull this and it would open and they could escape.
Boy: Oh! We don't have that in our car. You can see out the trunk because it's a truck! But if you had that car (points to random white car) you shouldn't put someone in the trunk because they couldn't breath.
Me: That's true. That wouldn't be safe, huh?
Boy: Yeah...but we could put a dead person that we know in it. That would be fine."
Me: uh....yeah. I guess that would be ok...
